Term of use:

Thank you for purchasing a resource from Érudits!
By purchasing and using this resource, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Permitted Use:

1. Book Licensing Information:

  • Single Purchase for Individual Use: The purchase of any book is for individual use only. It cannot be uploaded to any shared platform or website for access by multiple users.

  • Class or School Access: If you would like to make the resource available to students via your school’s platform or website, please contact us to explore licensing options for each student.

  • Licensing for Multiple Users: Schools can arrange for a multi-user license, allowing students to access the book online. Each student will need to purchase their own digital copy, or schools can purchase bulk licenses based on the number of students who will access the material.

  • Licenses must be renewed each academic year, just as new students would need to purchase their own copies of the book for the following year.

  • 2. Digital resources:

    Permitted Use:

    Personal and Classroom Use:

    • All resources available on Érudits are intended for personal or classroom use only. You may download, print, and use the materials for your own educational purposes.

    • You may store these resources on your personal device or secure cloud storage for your own use only.

    • 3Multiple License Purchase:

    • If you wish to share the resource with other educators or staff within your school, you must purchase a multiple license.

    • Multiple licenses allow other teachers in the same school to use the resource.

    • A school-wide license can be purchased, which will allow you to upload and share the resource on your school’s website or internal learning platform. Contact us directly for more details on bulk licensing.

      Prohibited Use:

  1. No Redistribution:

    • You may not distribute or share the resource (physically or digitally) outside of the purchased license. This includes sending via email, sharing on Google Drive, cloud platforms, or any other public or private website.

    • You are not permitted to upload resources to any public website, personal blog, or any other platform without express written consent, unless you have purchased a license for institutional use.

  2. No Reselling or Claiming as Your Own:

    • The resources provided are for educational purposes only and may not be resold, copied, or claimed as your own.

    • Modifying or adapting a resource does not give you the right to sell or distribute it in any form.

  3. No Commercial Use:

    • These resources may not be used for any commercial purposes or included in products intended for sale or distribution.

Modifications:

  • You may modify the resource for personal or classroom use, but redistribution of the modified version in any form is strictly prohibited, unless you have the appropriate multiple license.

Digital Resources:

  1. Digital Sharing for Students:

    • Resources may be shared with your students via private, secure platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams) where access is restricted to your students only.

  2. Interactive Digital Resources (Google Slides, etc.):

    • Interactive resources are licensed for one teacher per purchase unless otherwise stated. Sharing with other educators requires a multiple license.
