Stimulus discussion practice (mirrors Part A & B)
In an oral assessment you bring your own stimulus item (a picture, article, object or poster) related to a Unit 1/2 topic. Choose a topic below, find or picture your own stimulus, then practise the timed preparation and discussion exactly as in the exam.
Topic
Talk through your stimulus out loud for the full time. Cover the guiding questions below as the teacher would ask them.
Practice assessment (≈22 minutes)
Runs through a typical oral assessment structure end to end: 10 minutes' preparation, ~4 minutes discussing your stimulus, then ~8 minutes of rapid‑fire conversation questions sampled from Unit 1 & Unit 2, timed the way a classroom assessment might run.
Have a stimulus item ready before you begin (see Stimulus Practice tab for ideas).
