Noël dans la francophonie | Years 7–10 French Christmas Stations | Audio + Passport

$15.00

Take your students on a Christmas trip around the French-speaking world. Six reading and listening stations introduce six teenagers who tell how they celebrate December in France, Québec, Belgium, Switzerland, Senegal and Martinique.

At each station students listen to a short French audio track, read the text and complete five activities in their Christmas passport: a ready-made, culture-rich lesson for the last weeks of Term 4.

The six stations

  • La France (Marseille): the 13 desserts and santons in the crèche

  • Le Québec: le temps des Fêtes, tourtière and letters to Père Noël at H0H 0H0

  • La Belgique: Saint Nicolas, the shoe and the carrot for his donkey

  • La Suisse: the Saint-Nicolas parade in Fribourg and Geneva’s chocolate marmite

  • Le Sénégal: Christmas in the sun, sharing with neighbours and the Fanal lanterns

  • La Martinique: chanté Nwèl, Creole carols and the Christmas meal

What’s included (A4 PDF + editable Word + MP3)

  • 6 station cards: French text, glossary and a “Le saviez-vous ?” fact

  • 6 MP3 tracks, one per station (about 1 minute each, read slowly and clearly)

  • Student passport (10 pages): useful words, continent match, activities A–D plus a Défi at every station, a comparison grid, a “Qui dit ça ?” quiz and a Christmas card writing task with a /12 rubric

  • Teacher guide and separate answer key (7 pages): set-up, timing, differentiation, debrief questions, full answers, a model card from Perth, culture notes and sources

Time: 60–75 minutes, or two shorter lessons. Culture facts were checked against published sources. The audio uses AI text-to-speech voices and was checked word for word against the texts.
